Celebrate the best of Hampshire food & drink
Throughout July, we are celebrating all the wonderful food and drink produced in Hampshire, as part of the Hampshire Fare Food Festival; a month long excuse to try some wonderful, local produce!
We have a special dish on offer, a Best of Hampshire Summer BBQ, and a whole range of Hampshire ingredients for you to sample, including Alf Turner’s pork scratching’s and Twisted Nose, Winchester distilled gin.

This year Hampshire Fare celebrates 25 years, so 25 chefs, have created 25 dishes in honour of this milestone! Our ’25 plates’ specialty dish is a mouth watering sharing board featuring a selection of Hampshire meats and produce including Alf Turner’s award-winning Hair of the Hog sausages, homemade chicken liver pâté, Hampshire rare roast beef, homemade black pudding Scotch egg and a trio of Hampshire charcuterie from Ambrose Sausages.
About ’25 plates’
On Saturday 16th July our Best of Hampshire BBQ will take place on our rear patio, where we’ll be serving up a delicious selection of local food and drink under a beating summer sun (hopefully)! So save the date and grab the whole family to help support a host of fabulous local producers.
