The Wheatsheaf is the newest member of our group and represents something a little different for us being on the high street rather than out in the sticks. That said Farnham is a traditional market town with somewhat of a sleepy feel to it so we are really looking forward to being more involved in this fabulous town.
There is lots to do as the pub isn’t currently in the best of shape and has been rather unloved for the last decade or so. Well things are about to change, we are going to tidy up the Wheatsheaf and turn it in to something quite special – The Wheatsheaf Pub and Grill.
We will be open all day everyday offering an array of local ales, craft beers and the wonderful Hazy Hog cider from our favourite local brewery. The food will be rustic and hearty with a real focus on prime meats and proper homemade burgers utilising the excellent Surrey beef from Oakwood farm. The newly refurnished pub will include an open kitchen so you can see our chefs in full flow, an intimate courtyard with concertina doors in to the pub and an array of interesting and eclectic decor and furnishings that will really put the charm and character back in to this lovely old pub.
There is lots to look forward to. You won’t have to wait too much longer as we are already closed for the refurbishment and will be reopening in the middle of November ready for the festive season.
