Covid-19 Reopening Update

We safely reopened our pub on the 4th July, according to the government guidelines.  Although there are some necessary changes to ensure both the safety of our customers and team members, we are still offering the same delicious locally-sourced food, friendly smiles and great atmosphere.

Booking is advised. We are taking bookings for both inside the pub and outside on our back patio and will be allocating 2-hour slots for every booking, in order to manage the flow of customers and allow time for thorough cleaning between guests.

After coming across this delightful country pub on recent dog walks we decided to end a particularly blustery walk with a lovely pub lunch. We were not disappointed!

The lovely staff were very accommodating at finding us a quiet corner by the welcoming fire. Our dog made the most of this and curled up quickly by the crackling fire after having his fill of treats and water! We enjoyed a scrumptious, much needed, lunch which was great value for money and the service was super. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll certainly be back!
